2019-2024 BMW X7 Oil Service Light Reset Guide (G07)

Alright, this section will show you step by step how to reset the oil service light on your BMW X7. So the first thing you’re going to have to do is:

1. Put your car in a diagnostic mode

   Start over with the START button and you’re going to press it quickly three times and that’s going to put you in a diagnostic mode

2. Wait for a second

   Then wait and keep an eye on the screen in just one second till you see diagnostic mode active message 
   

3. Press and hold the BC button

   Then on your turn signal stalk, there’s a button that says BC. You’re gonna just press and hold it for a little while and after 20 seconds or so it’s going to give you different options
   
   

4. Find the Engine Oil

   At this point, you can hit the BC button repeatedly to scroll through the service items but we need to focus on our Engine Oil
   

5. Hold down the BC button

   To reset it you’re going to press and hold it again for 10 seconds or so and it gonna ask you to Reset?
   

6. Hold it again to confirm

   After that, let go and then hold it again just to confirm
