2010-2021 Audi A1 TPMS Tyre Pressure Sensor Light Reset Guide – The Audi A1 is a model of the German car manufacturer Audi, originally from 2010. The Audi A1 was presented as the new entry-level model under the A3.

The car shares its base platform with the Volkswagen Polo. The Audi A1 was originally only available as a three-door hatchback. A five-door model, the so-called Sportback, was presented at the end of 2011.

You have to reset the specified pressures whenever you adjust tire pressures, change a tire, or get it rotated in order for the TPMS to operate appropriately. Depending on your vehicle model year, here are a few ways to reset the TPMS on Audi A1:

2010-2018 Models

Time needed: 7 minutes

In this 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 model years, you can reset the TPMS via the multimedia display. Proceed as follows:

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position but do not start the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button once without touching the brake pedal.

  2. Press the MENU button on the multimedia controls to access the main menu

    The button is located on the center console

  3. Go to CAR or VEHICLE menu

    Use the MMI control button to scroll and select the menu

  4. Select SYSTEM or CAR SYSTEM

    You can skip this step if the menu doesn’t exist

  5. Select SERVICE & CHECKS or SERVICE & CONTROL

    Use the MMI control button to enter the menu

  6. Scroll down and select “TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING”

    A message will appears on the display

  7. Select STORE TIRE PRESSURE

    A confirmation message will appears on the screen

  8. Select YES to execute the TPMS reset

    Done!

2019-2021 Models

Just like the previous model, you can reset the TPMS via the infotainment display, but this latest model (2019 2020 2021) uses a touchscreen. Here’s how to do it:

  • Turn ignition switch to ON position but do not start the engine
  • From the Home screen, tap the VEHICLE menu on the MMI display
  • Select SETTINGS & SERVICE
  • Select TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING
  • Select STORE TIRE PRESSURE
  • Select YES to execute the TPMS reset

This procedure should apply to the first and second generations of Audi A1 (2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 model years).
