Chevrolet Equinox Regular Maintenance

The Chevrolet Equinox needs regular maintenance to maintain its performance and safety. You should schedule frequent oil changes and services at specific mileage intervals. You should also check the belts of the accessories and inspect the rear axle fluid if your car is equipped with an all-wheel drive. Your Chevy Equinox may also require more frequent oil changes if you drive it in harsh conditions. You can consult your owner’s manual to find out how often you should have your vehicle serviced.

Most recommended maintenance involves changing or flushing vehicle fluids. Fluids are crucial for the proper functioning of vehicle components and prevent malfunctions. When fluids become contaminated or filled with debris, they may no longer work properly. By completing regular fluid exchanges, you can avoid future car problems and ensure that your vehicle keeps working correctly.

Every 30,000 miles, your Chevy Equinox will need a full service. A mechanic will change the oil and the cabin air filter and perform a multi-point visual inspection. They will also check the brakes and the transmission fluid. Other routine maintenance includes replacing a fuel filter and cleaning the cabin air filter. You can expect the Chevy Equinox to require a maintenance service every 30,000 miles, but you can skip it if you’d like.
