2017-2022 Honda Ridgeline Oil Life/Maintenance Light Reset Guide

Hello everybody! Today, I will do a short post here and show you how to reset your oil life or maintenance minder light on a Honda Ridgeline. This will apply to the new Ridgeline (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 models). So check and make sure that you have the right application.
Fun fact this particular car or model or maybe is the new car nowadays, but there are two types of reset on the maintenance reset. You can reset it by using the screen and the buttons on the steering wheel or reset it on the navigation screen. So stay with us.

2017-2022 Honda Ridgeline Oil Life/Maintenance Light Reset Guide
Via Cluster Screen
Time needed: 3 minutes
In this section, I’m going to show you how to do an oil life reset on the new Honda Ridgeline, and in doing so, we’re going to be using the three buttons on the steering wheel. So the reset can be done as follows:
- Turn on the ignition
The first thing we’re going to do is turn the ignition on and how we do that is we’re going to press the START button two times so that’s going to turn everything on
- Go to the OIL LIFE screen
Then I want to be on using the ▲or▼arrow keys here we’re going to get to the OIL LIFE screen
- Hold down the RESET button
Once we’re on the oil life screen, we would press and hold the RESET button in the middle for about ten seconds so that’s going to bring us up a screen that says maintenance reset
- Select RESET
When you come to that screen, it’s going to start out on Cancel so we’re going to use the arrow keys to change that to RESET and then hit the middle button again to confirm it
- If you’re gonna reset on the navigation screen right here go ahead and press the HOME button to get the main menu
- Then you’re gonna go to ⚙️ SETTINGS
- After getting it, you’re gonna go to VEHICLE
- From there, you’re gonna go down to MAINTENANCE INFO
- When you come to this screen, you’re gonna hit reset and the oil life will turn into a hundred percent
So that’s it. Your warning lights are going to go away, and you’re going to be happy because it’s not flashing in front of your face. I hope this helped anybody out that was trying to reset their maintenance light later. Thanks for your time, and have a good rest today.
