2016-2020 Seat Ateca Oil Change Service Minder Inspection Light Reset – The SEAT Ateca is the first SUV brand, will be the medium of its kind and will begin shipping in the second quarter of 2016. Its name comes from the Spanish town Ateca within the Community of Calatayud, in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon.

Time needed: 7 minutes

When the time for service comes, the Oil Change Service minder with spanner light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Change Service Minder Light on your Seat Ateca:

  1. Turn OFF the ignition then press and hold the 0.0/SET button

    The button is located on the instrument cluster

  2. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal.

  3. When a message appears on the display, release the 0.0/SET button.

    Release the button when you enter to the Reset mode

  4. Press the 0.0/SET button again to confirm

    Done!

Vehicles with the digital instrument panel

Follow these steps if your vehicle is equipped with a digital instrument panel:

  • Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine
  • Go to DRIVING DATA menu by using the ❏ button on the steering wheel
  • Scroll down and select RANGE menu
  • Once you’re in RANGE menu, press the OK button for 5 seconds
  • On the Service menu, you can choose RESET OIL SERVICE or RESET SERVICE
  • When a message appears on the display, press the OK button to confirm
