What’s going on, guys! It will be an oil life or oil change light reset on a Buick LaCrosse. This is simple elementary stuff, and many people know how to do this, but I thought it’d be good to put it on this post.
Because it’s the same process for the new GM vehicle and save yourself some money, I’m sure many people out there still don’t know how to do it. So let’s get into it now.
Time needed: 3 minutes
Now we’re going to reset the oil life in this Buick LaCrosse. It’s pretty easy compared to older cars. This is just through your menu systems, using this navigation bar, and going through that portion. So what you’re gonna do is:
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press and hold the START button for 5 seconds
Then you’re gonna use the steering wheel buttons right here and press the ◄ navigation button to access the cluster applications
In this menu here you want to go to INFO then you will hit the ✓ checkmark to get in
Next, you’re gonna press down and you need to get to the Oil Life right there
Press and hold down the ✓ button on the steering wheel till you hear a beep so that will reset
So that’s all there is to reset the oil life on your Buick LaCrosse (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 model years). That’s all you have to use these steps to reset it. If you have any questions, post them in the comments section. Thanks for your time, and have a great weekend.

When I am in the "Info" screen I scroll up and down all the way but no "Oil life"
screen shows up.
