Good morning Benz fam! Today, I will teach you how to reset the oil service light on a Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 in this article. It’s a straightforward operation; first and foremost, you’ll want to ensure that all doors are locked.

I saw that the service light had been on for months and that service is simply an oil change since the vehicle is no longer under warranty. Thus, this is as good a moment as any to begin doing everything myself. So let’s go through the steps to reset it.

Time needed: 3 minutes

Now that you change your oil, you will want to get rid of the service message. I think this I do it, so go from the primary screen, and then you’re going to push the Back button and the Selector pad at the same time for a few seconds. So here’s how it’s done.

  1. Turn the ignition key to position 1

Start by pushing the START button once and waiting for the screen to come up

  2. Make sure the TRIP is displayed

Then you have to make sure you’re on the TRIP screen. So if you’re in the main menu you just push the HOME button and then select TRIP
