2013-2017 Holden Calais Oil Change Minder Light Reset – The Holden Commodore / Berlina / Calais is a car model of the Australian car manufacturer Holden. The model is available as a four-door sedan and a five-door break. In Asia, the car is sold under the name Chevrolet Lumina Sedan and in Brazil as the Chevrolet Omega Sedan. When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Oil Soon message will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Holden Calais:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press and holds the Engine Start/Stop button for 5 seconds without touching the brake pedal
- Fully press and release the accelerator pedal to the floor slowly 3 times within five seconds
If the CHANGE OIL SOON light blinks, the system is resetting
- Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
