2012-2018 Peugeot 208 Service Indicator Spanner Minder Light Reset – The Peugeot 208 is a small car of the French vehicle manufacturer PSA Peugeot Citroën. He is the successor of the Peugeot 207. The model was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March and hit the European market on April 21, 2012, initially with hatchbacks and three or five doors. In June 2015, all models experienced a facelift.
The 208 is available in three trim levels: Access, Active, and Allure. The basic equipment Access includes the antilock braking system, traction control, vehicle dynamics control (ESP), cruise control and six airbags. Available since March 2013, the GTi builds on the upscale features of the 208 Allure but differs in some features such as the seats or the rear spoiler.

Time needed: 7 minutes
When the next service is due, the Service minder or Spanner light will appear on the display. The service indicator must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Minder light on your Peugeot 208:
- Turn the ignition to the OFF position
Make sure your vehicle is stopped completely
- Press and hold the [wp-svg-icons icon=”wrench” wrap=”i”] 000 button
The button is located on the instrument cluster
- Turn ON the ignition but don’t start the engine; the distance recorder display begins a countdown
Countdown from 10 will appears on the display
- Continue to hold down the button until “0” MILES appears on the display and the maintenance light turns off
Release the button when the display indicates “=0”
- Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
