2012-2018 Mercedes-Benz B-Class Service Light Reset (B160 B180 B250) – The B-class is a compact MPV positioned above Mercedes A-class. Keeping in mind its United States’ market compared to Category A-and, in fact, emulating the R-Class, the B-Class appearance was stylized from back to the nose. Some of the tiny stylistic details of Baby-Benz ‘(popular name of A-Class) have been removed.

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class Type 245 was produced from 2005 to 2011, it was restyled in 2008. It was replaced in 2011 by the Mercedes-Benz Class B W246; W242. The Mercedes-Benz Class B Type 246; 242 was produced in 2012. It replaces the previous Class B, the T245. Class B Type 246 was restyled in September 2015.

When maintenance service is due, the Service due minder will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Minder light on your Mercedes-Benz B-Class:

  1. Turn the ignition key to position 1 without starting the engine

    If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal.

  2. Make sure the VEHICLE TRIP MILAGE is displayed in the multi-function display.

  3. Press and hold the [wp-svg-icons icon=”phone” wrap=”i”] (ACCEPT CALL) button for a second

    The button is located on the steering wheel

  4. While holding the [wp-svg-icons icon=”phone” wrap=”i”] (ACCEPT CALL) button press and hold the OK button

    Remember! Don’t press the buttons simultaneously, the timing is very decisive at this step!

  5. After several seconds the VEHICLE DATA menu should come up

    If you do it right, the VEHICLE DATA menu will appear on the screen

  6. Scroll down to ASSYST PLUS menu

    Press the OK button to enter the menu

  7. Scroll down to FULL SERVICE

    Press the OK button to enter the menu

  8. Select CONFIRM SERVICE

    You can skip this step if it’s not in your vehicle

  9. Select appropriate OIL GRADE being used

    Press the OK button to select

  10. When a confirmation message appears, select YES to confirm it
