2011-2022 Ford Fiesta Oil Change/Service Light Reset Guide

Hello and welcome, viewers! So glad you could join us. In today’s post, we will do a service light reset on a Ford Fiesta after an oil change. It’s a simple thing to do, just a couple of things to watch out for doing it.
So there are two ways to reset it because there are different models and motors, but this out was outlined right in the owner’s manuals. If this doesn’t work for you, check out your owner’s manual, and it’s listed under changing the oil. So look it up, and it should have that reset process because this may be different for you.

2011-2022 Ford Fiesta Oil Change/Service Light Reset Guide
For your info, this operation work for the Ford Fiesta Mark VI and Mark VII (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 model years).
For Fiesta US Model (2011-2019)
- First, press the START button without applying the brake or the clutch to get your accessories mode
- After that, you push the GAS and BRAKE pedals down as far as you can for thirty seconds
- After thirty seconds you will see the oil light disappear so you can release the pedals and you’re good to go
For Fiesta UK Model (2017-2022)
Time needed: 3 minutes
This section will tell you how to reset when you have your service light on the Ford Fiesta UK Model. That’s different from the US model, and this time we will access the menu on the dash screen. So let’s go ahead.
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
To start with all, what we’re going to do is just keep your feet off the pedal and just press the START button once to get the ignition on
- Clear any message
Then we will clear through the messages on the dash and we’re gonna use the OK buttons on the steering wheel to clear these up
- Go to SETTINGS
Once you’re on the main screen, you want to scroll down using the ▼ button to roll down and you want to get to where it says ⚙️ SETTINGS
- Press the ☰ MENU button
Once on settings, you press the ☰ MENU button to get into the menu
- Get to INFORMATION
After that, you want to select INFORMATION by pressing the OK button
- Scroll down and select OIL LIFE
From there, it might start at the top of the menu, you can scroll down to get to where it says OIL LIFE which is right at the bottom
- Hold down the OK button
At this point, that will come up telling you that the oil life percentage and all you’re going to do is press the OK button again and then hold it down to reset the oil life and then it’ll come up with a little message to say it’s been reset

I have a 2016 automatic 6 speed, LHD europe, NL. When I press brake and acc pedal, the spanner light is off the same moment, but comes back on after the 30 sec of pressing pedals end problem is not solved. Other ways?
