2011-2018 Audi A8 Oil Change Minder Service Light Reset – The Audi A8 is a luxury sedan from the top-class segment of the German car brand Audi. It is the successor of the Audi V8. The third generation of the Audi A8 (internal factory code Type 4H) would initially be presented at the IAA in Frankfurt in September 2009 but this was postponed until the end of 2009. The new A8 made its debut on December 1, 2009, in Miami.
The new A8 is built on the new common MLP platform and has a wheelbase of 2.99 m. The length increased to 5.14 m. This A8 again uses the ASF so that the car remains relatively light. Another measure against the weight is the aluminum calipers which provide a weight saving of 3.75 kg per wheel. By default, there is Quattro four-wheel drive is provided with a 40:60 (front: back) relationship with, optionally, a sports differential in the rear axle.

When engine oil service is due, the Oil Change warning light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Change Light on your Audi A8:
- Turn ignition switch to ON position but do not start the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the CAR button on the MMI controls to access the main menu
The button is located on the center console
- Select CAR SYSTEMS menu
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- Select “SERVICE & CHECKS”
On some vehicle, you should select SERVICE & CONTROL
- Scroll down and select “SERVICE INTERVAL”
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- Scroll down and select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- When a message appears on the display, select YES to confirm
