Remove the safety lanyard
Pull out the emergency stop switch plate
Pull up the emergency stop switch knob 3 times in 10 seconds
You’ll hear a beep if the reset is completed
Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF” position,
If your Outboard has a Smart key button, turn the main switch to the position and then release it.
Set the safety lanyard to its original position
