When engine oil service is due, the Time For Service warning light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Time For Service Light on your Saab 9-5:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position without starting the engine
Turn on the ignition and wait for Time For Service message appears on the display
- Press the CLEAR button once to hide the message
The button is located on the center console
- Press and hold the CLEAR button past “CLEARED” until “SERVICE” appears on the display
You gotta hold for about 17 seconds and a beep will sounds
- Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
