When engine oil service is due, a wrench symbol and the distance to oil change information will appear on the display. The engine oil change interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the wrench light on your Nissan Quest:
- Turn the ignition key to ON position without starting the engine
If your car has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the INFO button
The button is located on the Navigation system control
- Highlight the MAINTENANCE menu
Press the ENTER button to select the menu
- Select the ENGINE OIL
On this menu, you can choose RESET or set the distance for engine oil interval
- To reset the engine oil interval, highlight the RESET and push the ENTER button.

- Next, repeat these steps for the FILTER to reset the oil filter interval
This menu lets you set an oil filter reminder at a specific interval or reset the current one
- Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset

- Turn the ignition key to “RUN” position without starting the engine, If your car has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
