To turning off the Maintenance Light on 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 BMW X1, conform to the following instructions:
When the vehicle stopped, and all the doors are closed, turn on the ignition without starting the engine.
Press and hold the trip odometer button until you see a Service Item on the display
Press the BCbutton in the turn indicator lever repeatedly until you see the OIL LIFE icon
Press and hold the BCbutton on the OIL LIFE icon until ”RESET” appears on the display
To execute the function, press and hold the BCbutton again
You can also use this procedure for each additional service which is to be reset.
Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
