What does Acura recommend for maintenance service intervals?

To maintain your Acura, you should follow recommended service intervals. These intervals are generally every 7500 miles. They will cover a few essential basic services, including engine oil and filter changes. These intervals can also include inspections of cabin air filters, brake lines, hoses, and drive axle boots and seals. You should also check the condition of the brake pads and adjust your parking brake.

Your Acura has a system called the Maintenance Minder that will automatically adjust maintenance intervals based on the type of driving you do. For example, if you go on mild highways in a warm climate, your break may be longer than 3,000 miles. On the other hand, if you drive in cold temperatures, your interval may be shorter. But most people combine highway driving and city driving and find that maintenance intervals fall between 6,000 and 8,000 miles.

Acura’s Maintenance Minder algorithm can also determine when it’s time to change engine oil. It uses several factors, including driving conditions, ambient temperature, and average speed, to determine the most effective oil change intervals. It will also recommend changing your tires, oil, and transmission fluid.
