2008-2017 Audi Q5 Service Due Minder Oil Change Light Reset – The Audi Q5 is a medium-sized SUV from the German car manufacturer Audi. It is the second SUV of the brand after the Audi Q7. The Q5 has as main competitors the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-class. The unveiling of the Q5 was on the 19th of April 2008 at the Beijing Auto Show, production started in September 2008. When engine oil service is due, the Oil Change warning light will appear on the display. The service interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Oil Change Light on your Audi Q5:
- Turn ignition switch to ON position but do not start the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the CAR button on the MMI controls to access the main menu
The button is located on the dash or behind the gearstick
- On some vehicle, you need to enter the “CAR SYSTEMS” menu then select “SERVICE & CHECKS”
You can skip this step if there is no menu in your vehicle
- Scroll down and select “SERVICE INTERVAL”
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- Scroll down and select RESET OIL CHANGE INTERVAL
Use the MMI control button to enter the menu
- When a message appears on the display, select YES to confirm
