|Last Updated on October 3, 2021 by Nick
Hey guys! Today here, we’ve got a Volkswagen Caddy. It’s my 2007 model, and we have just done the service on it. So now when we go to start the car, you will see that oil service light due at 500 kilometers. So I’m going to show you guys how to reset the service light in this VW Volkswagen Caddy.
Anyway, it’s recommended that you do it every service or 10,000 KM. So if you exceed the specified service interval, you’ll see the service minder light, and you should reset it after an oil change. So stick on here. I will show you how to do it.

This is just a quick guide on resetting the oil service light in this old VW Caddy (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 model years). So let me show you how to go ahead and get this done.

Close all doors and make sure you stop in a safe place
- Press and hold the RIGHT knob and then turn on the ignition
Then you’re going to hold down this button first while you put on the ignition
- Turn the LEFT button clockwise
After that, let your finger off and within 20 seconds flick to the right on the other side button and it should be reset
So that’s how you do it. If you liked what you saw, leave me a thumbs up. Check out my other ones and leave a comment down below. Remember, if it hasn’t broken yet, now’s the perfect time to fix it. So thanks for your time and see you next time.
