2007-2009 Suzuki XL7 Oil Life Light Change Engine Oil Minder Reset – The Suzuki XL7 is a passenger car model of the Japanese carmaker Suzuki, which was offered exclusively in the US market from autumn 2007 to the end of 2009. It was designed as a sports utility vehicle with five doors and replaced the Suzuki Grand Vitara XL -7.
The Suzuki XL7 was developed in collaboration with General Motors and was based on the same theta crossover platform as the Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac Torrent models. It was manufactured at the Canadian joint venture plant in Ingersoll. However, since the XL-7 could not prevail in the US against the large competition of the domestic market, production was stopped at the end of 2009.

When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Engine Oil Soon message will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Suzuki XL7:
Don’t start the engine!
The button is located on the center console
Press and hold the ✓ button until the Oil Life display changes to 100 percent
Done!
