  1. Turn the ignition to the “ON” position

    Do not start the engine!

  2. Press the SELECT/ RESET button repeatedly until you see “HOLD RESET FOR SETUP MENU” on the display

  3. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button 

    Press and hold the button to reach the setup menu

  4. Scroll to OIL LIFE menu

    Press SELECT/RESET button repeatedly to cycle the menu

  5. Once you’re on Oil Life screen, press and hold the SELECT/RESET button until “OIL LIFE SET TO 100%” displays

    Release the button when OIL LIFE SET TO 100% appears on the display

  6. You can set the oil life start value by press the SELECT/RESET button briefly

    Each press the button reduces the value by 10%

  7. Turn the ignition off and start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
