2004-2021 BMW 6 Series TPMS Tire Pressure Light Reset (E63 F06 G32) – The BMW 6 Series is a GT (Gran Turismo) car built by the German car manufacturer BMW. There are 4 generations: the E24, E63, F06, and G32. Three variants are currently being sold: the convertible, 2-door coupé, and 4-door coupé.

14 years after the E24 models disappeared from the BMW range, a new 6-series is back. This E63 is a luxury coupé designed by Chris Bangle and sold in 2003.

2004-2021 BMW 6 Series TPMS Tire Pressure Light Reset (E63 F06 G32)

Each time a tire pressure has been adjusted or change the tire, you need to reset the Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM). Depending on your vehicle model, here are a few ways to reset the TPM on 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 BMW 6 Series:

2004-2010 Model (E63 E64)

In the old generation of the BMW 6 Series (630Ci 645Ci 635d), you can reset tire pressure via iDrive. Here’s how to do it:

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Start the engine but don’t drive your car
  • Open the i menu by pressing the dial button
  • Select VEHICLE SETTINGS
  • Select FTM tab menu
  • Select SET TIRE PRESSURE
  • Select YES when a confirmation message appears
  • Drive the car

2011-2018 Model (F06 F12 F13)

Time needed: 7 minutes

In the BMW 6 Series F06 F12 F13 (640i 650i 640d version), you can reset the Tire Pressure through the iDrive. Here’s how to get started:

  1. Stop the vehicle

    Turn off the engine and shift to neutral position or P position

  2. Adjust the cold tire pressure in all four tires recommended on the tire placard

  3. Press MENU button to enter the main menu

    The button located on the center console

  4. Go to the VEHICLE INFO

    Use the dial navigation button to scroll the menu

  5. Select VEHICLE STATUS

    Some menus will appear on the screen

  6. Select Tire RESET

    A confirmation message will appear

  7. Starting the engine

    Put the key into the ignition slot, depress the brake pedal, and then press the START/STOP ENGINE button

  8. Select PERFORM RESET to execute the tire pressure reset

    You can choose cancel to cancel it

  9. Drive the car

    The system reset is completed while the car is on the move

2017-2021 Model (G32)

Just like the previous generation, you can access the tire pressure menu to reset the TPM via iDrive on the 630i 640i 620d 630d 640d version. Here’s how to do it:

  • Make sure to adjust the tire pressure recommended on the tire placard
  • Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
  • Press the MENU button to enter the main menu
  • Go to the MY VEHICLE by using the iDrive controller
  • Select VEHICLE STATUS
  • Select TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR
  • Start the engine but don’t drive your car
  • Select PERFORM RESET to start the initialization
  • Drive the car

The TPM calibration process will complete during driving. It will finish automatically.

This procedure should apply to the second, third, and fourth generations of BMW 6 Series (2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 model years).
