2004-2010 Mercedes-Benz SLK-280 Service Minder Oil Light Reset – The Mercedes-Benz R 171 is a roadster of the car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz. When maintenance service is due, the Service minder or Spanner light will appear on the display. The service minder information display must be reset after performed the maintenance service on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the Service Minder light on your Mercedes-Benz SLK-280:
- Turn the ignition to position 1, without starting the engine
If your vehicle has an ignition button, press the START-STOP ENGINE button without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the TRIP button quickly 3 times until the battery voltage appears on the display
The button is located on the instrument cluster
- Go to SERVICE menu
Use the UP or DOWN arrow button on the steering to display the menu
- Scroll down and highlight the CONFIRMATION by using – button
Press the ❏ menu button to select it
- Select COMPLETE SERVICE to confirm the reset process
