2004-2006 Chevrolet Daewoo Evanda Oil Change Light Reset – The Evanda is a D-segment sedan produced by the Korean company Daewoo and sold under various names: Daewoo Evanda in Western Europe (until 2005, when it was rebranded, Chevrolet), Chevrolet Evanda in Eastern Europe, Daewoo Magnus in South Korea, Suzuki Verona in the USA, Chevrolet Epica in Canada, Mexico, South America, Saudi Arabia, and China and Formosa Magnus in some Asian markets, mainly in Taiwan, where it was among other things produced.

At the end of the second millennium, Daewoo, which was joining the General Motors group, put in place a new 3-volume sedan project, produced in South-East Asia and destined to be sold all over the world. The code name of the car was V200. The project was ordered by Dr. W. J. Lee and the style of Italian design by Giorgetto Giugiaro.

2004-2006 Chevrolet Daewoo Evanda Oil Change Light Reset

Time needed: 7 minutes

When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Oil Soon message will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Chevrolet Daewoo Evanda:

  1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position

    Don’t start the engine!

  2. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal to the floor slowly 3 times within five seconds

    If the CHANGE OIL SOON light blinks, the system is resetting

  3. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset

    Done!
