2000-2005 Pontiac Aztek Change Oil Minder Oil Life Light Reset – The Aztek is a midsize crossover from Pontiac. His controversial lines earned him a brief life. He became famous for appearing in the Breaking Bad series, as the car of the protagonist Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston. They have a front engine and 4×4 traction being controlled by a 4-speed automatic transmission.
The Pontiac Aztek was a car designed with the intention of its occupants to do off-road, and when it was at night, to mount the tent that comes with the Aztek, this tent was safer than a normal tent, because it is stuck to the car.
2000-2005 Pontiac Aztek Change Oil Minder Oil Life Light Reset
Time needed: 7 minutes
When the remaining oil life is low, the Change Oil Soon message will appear on the display. The Oil Life display must be reset after each oil change. Follow the instructions below to reset the engine oil life system on your Pontiac Aztek:
- Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
Don’t start the engine!
- Fully press and release the accelerator pedal to the floor slowly 3 times within five seconds
If the CHANGE OIL SOON light blinks, the system is resetting
- Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
Done!
