Resetting Yamaha DGX-650 88-Key Graded Hammer Action Digital Piano

The DGX 650 is Yamaha’s newest model in their DGX line, which is marketed primarily towards beginning pianists and semi-professional players. It is equipped with an 88 key weighted GHS action key bed, which provides a lighter touch in the high end along with a heavier touch in the low end. This new model uses PureCF sound engine, which makes its sound quality a top notch.

Factory Reset:

To restoring a DGX 650 to it’s factory settings, just simply power ON while simultaneously holding the “highest (rightmost) white key” on the keyboard.

Warning! This procedure will erase all Registration Memory and User song data, plus the other settings listed above.
