TC Electronic G-Major Hard Reset
|Last Updated on June 20, 2022 by Nick
Denmark’s TC Electronic make numerous products that are found in practically every professional recording studio, and when it comes to guitar players’ effects, their products can be found in the racks and pedal boards of more pros than we could possibly begin to name. One of the TC products is G-Major, which is a digital rack unit. The G Major combines the familiar rugged, yet lightweight 1U black box and multi-coloured LCD display of many recent TC products with a honed-down feature set, a more intuitive user interface, and some sensible configuration options. It can’t be edited through a computer. It’s based around six primary effects blocks — Compressor, Filter/Modulation, Pitch, Chorus/Flanger, Delay, and Reverb — preceded by a Noise Gate. Each of these blocks is always available to every preset, so there are no configurations that lock you out of certain combinations.
According to several TC Electronic G-Major reviewers, some users have praised it for the reverb has so many ways it can be customized; the wide variety of textures. Also, some users have complained it for the no MIDI connection; the tonal quality is severely lacking in comparison to the G-Force; not as user friendly as the G-Force and isn’t as flexible either.
