Ricoh, a camera company from Tokyo is again presents a series of prosumer cameras or the latest super-zoom that uses the name ‘Pentax XG-1’. This camera has a super zoom capabilities with a 52x optical zoom reach. The camera is the successor of the previous camera, the X-5 is alreadyintroduced in 2012 ago. Pentax XG-1 was present using a wide angle lens 24 mm – 1248 mm (f / 2.8-5.6). By using the lens, this camera can be a solution if you want to take a candid photo or group of photos with superb picture clarity. Pentax XG-1 is also equipped with a macro mode with a distance of just 1cm from the lens, which allows you to capture close-up photos.
In addition you can use the HDR feature to merge 3 images at once in a single frame. In addition to offering a high zoom capabilities, Pentax XG-1 has been equipped with a 16MP 1 / 2.3 back-illuminated CMOS sensor which has the ISO from 100 to 3200. This camera also has a 3-inch LCD screen with 200k-dot, which allows you to edit photos, and can record video with full HD resolution. Pentax XG-1 has three modes of capturing an image. Starting from the standard mode with a speed of 9 frames per second, high speed mode at 30 frames per second, and ultra high-speed mode with speeds up to 60 frames per second.

Factory Reset:
To restoring Pentax XG-1 to it’s factory settings, conform to the following instructions:
- PRESS [Menu] button
- Select “Setting” menu by using up/down arrow button, and then press OK
- Select “Card icon” and press OK button
- Use the up/down arrow button to select “Reset” and press OK
- Select YES and press OK button to confirm
