2011-2023 Ford Edge Oil Change Light Reset Guide
- First, turn the key to the on position and wait till all the lights up
- Then we’re going to come over to the main menu, and we’re going to click it ▼ down until we get to SETTINGS
- Once we read Settings, we click the ► right arrow button to enter
- Next, we’re gonna go down it’s in CONVENIENCE and hit the ► right arrow
- After that, we’re going to scroll down until it comes to OIL LIFE RESET
- At this point, you can set it to a hundred percent, or whatever percent will reset. So you press the OK button and hold it down, so you’ll see you’re resetting
Resetting Oil Life in Ford Edge with Advance Display

Alright, we’re in a Ford Edge. This one is 2017, and we’re going to be resetting the oil life and we’re going to be utilizing the directional pad on the left of the steering wheel. So here’s what we’re going to do:
- Turn on the ignition without starting the engine
The first step in the process is to push the START button down on the right side of the steering column you’re going to push that two times without stepping on any pedal
- Clear any message
Once the instrument cluster powers up, you can go ahead and push OK to forward through the yellow messages and clear any message
- Go to the SETTINGS

- Scroll to the VEHICLE

Now I’m gonna scroll down till we get to OIL LIFE RESET and select it
- Hold down the OK button
To reset it you simply push and hold the OK on 100%, and you’re done
