How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Saturn Vue (2004-2010)

Hey there, old car lover! Wassup? Today I got to change the oil in the wife’s Saturn Vue, and now I will guide you to reset the oil maintenance light. This procedure is like most Saturn cars, so you can follow along even if you have a different vehicle.
I figured I’d take you guys along with me. There might be somebody out there that’s never reset the oil lightly before, so you might as well get content out there for you guys. So let’s go through the steps to reset it.
How To Reset Oil Maintenance Light On Saturn Vue (2004-2010)
Time needed: 3 minutes
Alright, we’re in a Saturn Vue. This one was in 2007, and we’re going to be resetting the maintenance light that comes up the little wrench on the dash. So here’s the way you’re doing it:
- Turn on the ignition
The first thing we’re going to do is stick the key in the ignition and turn it to the second position
- Pump the GAS pedal 3 times
Once all the lights come we can depress the GAS pedal quickly three times within ten seconds and this will reset the oil life indicator as you can see blinking in the bottom right
- Start the car
Now we can turn the ignition off and then turn it back on and our oil life will be reset
