So the method is simple, and we don’t need any tools. So let me show you the trick on how to do this without any problems.

Anyway, I definitely don’t recommend going 12,000 miles without changing the oil. I change mine in this car every three to five thousand miles because I drive it pretty aggressively. If you drive slow and easy, you might want to change it every five to seven thousand miles. So let’s dive right in.

  2. Go to the SETTING screen

Then press the TRIP button on the right until SETTINGS comes up

  3. Hold down the TRIP button

Once you get there, you need to hold down the TRIP button or turn it to the right and you’ll get your SETTINGS menu

  4. Scroll down to MAINTENANCE

Next, you’re going to MAINTENANCE by turning the TRIP button and press it to select

  5. Select SERVICE

After that, you’ll see some maintenance items but we want to select SERVICE

  6. Select RESET

Sometimes you’d have a reset option here and if you don’t you just go back and instead of just pressing to select, you need to press and hold it and it’ll give the option to reset

  7. Confirm to reset

Once it does, you just select RESET and confirm it

So that’s it, and we’re all done. If you have any tips or ideas or any other vehicles you want to see done, we’ll see what we can do. Just leave a comment below to let us know. So thanks for your time and see you at the next one.
