The Kaoss Pad is a touchpad MIDI controller, sampler, and effects processor for audio and musical instruments, made by Korg. The super-charged KP2 KAOSS Pad evolved from the uniquely original KP1 and is packed with ground-breaking effects, new sampling functions and a host of cool, user-inspired features. What you get with the Korg KP2 is essential effects such as filters, delays, reverb, and flanging along with killer DJ effects including isolator, slicer, and auto panning. You also get 15 super synth and vocoder sounds plus 20BPM effects that can be auto synced, tapped in, manually set, or run via MIDI.

Factory Settings

To restoring the factory settings of Korg KP2 KAOSS Pad, first set the Connection Switch on back to “FX LOOP”. And then power on while simultaneously holding the 3 button and TAP/BPM switch, when the display reads “100” release it. The display will convert to “00”. Set the Connection Switch to “Direct”. The display  will read “Lod”. Press and hold the Hold button while pressing the TAP/BPM button. After a series of digits appears on the screen, the KP2 will be initalized. The Factory Reset procedure is complete.
