The BR-800 is the first new entry in the BR series of personal multitrack studios for over four years. Record up to 4 tracks simultaneously with 8 tracks of simultaneous playback plus an additional stereo track dedicated to the Boss BR-800’s built-in rhythm generator. A built-in mic lets you easily throw down song ideas. Plug the BR-800 into virtually any USB-equipped computer, and the BR-800 instantly becomes a USB audio interface. The BR-800 recorder’s powerful onboard effects processor includes GT-10/10B effects, VE-20 vocal effects and harmonies, and COSM-based acoustic-guitar body modeling.

According to several user reviews of Boss BR-800 Digital Recorder, it gets some compliments such-as compact design; Easy to use; good effects; USB interfacing. But it’s get some complaints such-as phantom power on one mic input only; data dial and four-way cursor can be a bit fiddly; Poor Sound Quality; sonar software is Windows-only.
