What’s up, guys? Back at it, little about a lot reset the service or spanner light on the Renault Trafic today. I thought I’d make a short content to show you how to do it. It’s very simple. It only takes three steps to reset it.

So when the engine oil needs to replace, you’ll see a Spanner light with a service minder message on the dash screen. Now it’s probably a good time to reset the dial that tells you how many miles you have until your next oil change. So without wasting any more time, let’s go ahead and get right to it.

Time needed: 3 minutes

Alright, we’re working on a 2008 Renault Traffic, and today we’re going to be doing a service reset. So with this one, you need to be using the ignition key, and then you also need to be using the accelerator and the brake pedal. So here’s how it’s done!

  1. Turn on the ignition

So what you need to do is turn the ignition key on to the ignition comes on and no need to start the engine

  2. Depress the ACCELERATOR pedal

Then within a ten seconds step your foot into the Accelerator all the way down

  3. Pump the BRAKE pedal three times

While holding it, now you pump the Brake pedal three times and that will reset the light for you

  4. Release the pedals

Once you’re finished doing that you can release everything turn the ignition off and turn it back on to verify that everything is done

For your info, this operation work for the second generation of the Renault Trafic (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 model years).

So that’s how you reset it. I hope you’ve learned a lot from this post, and if you want to see more, I will continue making content about this and other things. So thanks for stopping by, and good luck with your car auto work.
