2014-2015 Infiniti Q40 Engine Oil Light Maintenance Minder Reset – Infiniti has revealed details of the upcoming model line of the company for the calendar year 2016. The change also includes the retirement of some models. Currently, Infiniti’s entry-level model, the sedan Q40, will be entered into the list of 2016 model year lineup. But Infiniti said it has stopped making Q40, although this time the sedan was still in the consumer Web site.
Q40 itself will be replaced by a ‘Q30 compact premium in March 2016. Q30 is also scheduled to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2015. When engine oil service is due, maintenance message and the distance to oil change information will appear on the display. The engine oil change interval must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the maintenance light on your Infiniti Q40:
- Turn the ignition key to ON position without starting the engine
If your car has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the [wp-svg-icons icon=”copy” wrap=”i”] button until you see the “SETTING” screen
The button is located on the instrument cluster
- Scroll to the MAINTENANCE menu by using the [wp-svg-icons icon=”radio-checked” wrap=”i”] button
Press the [wp-svg-icons icon=”copy” wrap=”i”] button to enter the menu
- Scroll to the Engine OIL menu
Press the [wp-svg-icons icon=”copy” wrap=”i”] button to enter the menu
- On this menu, you can choose RESET or set the distance for engine oil interval
This menu lets you set an oil and filter reminder at a specific interval or reset the current one
