Alright, today I’m working on a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage, and I’m going to resetting the oil maintenance light. It will be a straightforward job, and I want to be the guy who shows you how to do it. So let me do that right now.
- Turn off the ignition
Make sure the vehicle is completely stopped
- Find the ? spanner screen
Hit the TRIP button on the dash repeatedly until you get the ? spanner symbol on the screen
- Hold down the TRIP button
Now press and hold the TRIP button till the wrench flashes
- Press the TRIP button again
After this, you press the TRIP button again until CLEAR comes up, and the new next periodic inspection will appear on the screen
For your info, this operation work for the sixth generation of the Mitsubishi Mirage (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 model years).

But on another note, is the wrench symbol accurate? Should I really have the car inspected once that symbol pops up?
