2014-2015 Acura RLX Service Light Maintenance Due Warning Reset – Acura launched the all-new luxury sedan RLX 2014 in the automotive exhibition in Los Angeles. The successor to the Acura RL (Honda Legend in Japan), production will take place at the Saitama Factory following the RL. Acura claims a new sedan as the strongest, largest and most advanced. The model uses injection engine i-VTEC V-6 with a capacity of 3.5 liters with 310 hp power. The engine uses variable cylinder management which makes fuel-efficient 20 mpg on city streets and 31 mpg on the highway, averaged 24 mpg. The engine provides a torque of 272-ft (368 Nm). RLX is equipped with Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS), a world’s first technology that sets the settings both rear wheel and the left wheel right wheel independently or continuously.

If your vehicle has maintenance items due within 30 days, the Maintenance Due message will appear on the display. The maintenance minder information display must be reset after performed the maintenance service or change the engine oil on your vehicle. Follow the instructions below to reset the maintenance light on your Acura RLX:
- Turn the ignition key to the ON position without starting the engine
If your vehicle has a Smart key button, press the “Start” button twice without touching the brake pedal.
- Press the SETTINGS buttons
The button located on the audio information control
- Scroll to VEHICLE SETTINGS by rotating the dial
press the ENTER button to select the menu
- Scroll to MAINTENANCE INFO tab
Press the ENTER button to select the menu
- Next, find and select MAINTENANCE RESET
Press the ENTER button to select the menu
- Scroll down to RESET
Press the ENTER button to select the menu
- When a confirmation message appears on the display, select RESET to confirm
The maintenance items will disappear, and the engine oil life back to 100%.
- Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset
